The security of Internet payment processing is guaranteed by JSC «Russian Standard Bank». All payment card transactions are conducted in accordance with the requirements of VISA International, MasterCard, American Express, and other payment systems. Special security technologies for card online payments are used during information transmission, and data processing is carried out on a secure high-tech server of the processing company. In the case of recurring payments, upon the first transaction, your card number and expiration date will be stored on the Bank’s side in a secure vault. After the completion or provision of services by the company, the data will be automatically deleted. All Bank resources comply with PCI DSS security standards.
When performing a transaction, you will be additionally redirected to the Issuing Bank’s page to enter a security verification code (if the bank that issued your card supports the 3D Secure technology and your card also supports this program).
3D Secure is an additional cardholder authentication procedure designed to ensure guaranteed security of bank card payments on the Internet.
The 3D Secure technological solution has its own brand in each of the payment systems:
- Verified by Visa – for cards of the Visa Int. payment system.
- MasterCard Secure Code – for cards issued under MasterCard Int.
- SafeKey and JSecure – the American Express and JCB payment systems, respectively.
Regardless of the name, the 3D Secure technology provides a secure session during an internet transaction and allows cardholder users to confirm the legitimacy of the operation to the card-issuing Bank.
