Station L1, a 3* hotel, is located in the center of St. Petersburg at the very beginning of Ligovsky Prospect.
The beautiful building in eclectic style was constructed in 1875. Since 1883, it housed the Gymnasium and Real School of Gurevich. It was considered one of the best and most progressive private secondary educational institutions in St. Petersburg. Notable graduates of the gymnasium included Prince F. Yusupov, composer I. Stravinsky, publisher S. Makovsky, and other prominent figures.
